Case Studies

What are good practices in relation to harmful work? Can well-intended abolitionist interventions actually do more harm than good?

The different case studies presented here below are drawn from the real life experiences of working children. Each example highlights specific policy challenges in relation to the blanket ban minimum age approaches that are stipulated by the ILO Minimum Age Convention (C138) and provides recommendations for practical changes that would help improve the lives of working children.
