Children and Work Network
We are an international and diverse group of academic researchers and practitioners concerned with childhood and children’s rights, with a particular interest in children’s work.
While we strongly believe that harmful work done by children should be eliminated, it is of vital importance that interventions and campaigns are evidence-based, informed by working children’s own experiences, and should consider well-being holistically: they must attend to the overall well-being and development of the children – physical, mental, social and spiritual – as stipulated by the UNCRC (articles 17, 23, 27, 32).
This website is dedicated to our efforts and publications towards this end.
